James Morgan

James Morgan joined Leadership Edge staff in the spring of 2013 after serving on the board of directors for six years.  James is based in Dallas, Texas, overseeing all Leadership Edge operations and campus services in Texas.

Prior to joining LEI, James served as an officer and pilot in the U.S. Air Force, accumulating over 2000 total flying hours, including 1000 combat support hours, in the F-15C Eagle, AT-38C Talon, and MQ-9 Reaper.  He served in multiple leadership positions including:  Combat Operations Mission Commander, Assistant Director of Operations, and Flight Commander.  He continues to serve as a part time instructor pilot for the Air Force Reserves.

James received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Duke University in 2001 and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Regent University in 2011.  He has also completed multiple courses in the U.S. Air Force, including Squadron Officer School and Air Command and Staff College.

James is married to Sarah, who he calls “the spice of my life”, and they have two children, Will and Elise.  He considers his family his most important sphere of influence and is committed to loving and serving them with joy and devotion.
